Replacement (repair and refurbishment) of existing historic wooden doors without fire resistance to fire resistant doors
Fire resistance: max. EI 30 DP3

If the doors in the building are assessed according to ČSN 73 0834 - Changes to buildings - the existing doors, which are to become fire-resistant by changing the building layout, can be modified to fire-resistant without the need to replace them and manufacture new ones.

Depending on the requirement for the type of fire resistance, it is either a modification by adding tape only or a more complex repair with a possible increase in the thickness of the door leaf, replacement of the cassettes with fire resistant ones, glazing with fire glass and replacement of the lock with a new one with fire resistance.

In order to evaluate the possibility of such a repair, in addition to the description from the elements table, a complete fire report must be sent, which indicates according to which standards the building is assessed.
