Our history
From a small family workshop to a leading manufacturer of fire-rated closures
I founded POZUZ, s.r.o. on 25 February 2011, building on our family business Požární uzávěry s.r.o., which our father founded in 1998. We started out as a small workshop with a handful of employees who love their work. Even back then, our specialty was the manufacture and installation of fire-rated windows, doors and walls. Over time we grew and became a respected name on the fire-rated closures market.
Over the years we earned respect and gathered thousands of references. Thanks to the high quality of our products and services, we built a strong reputation for POZUZ and became one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of fire-rated doors, windows and walls on the market.
We specialise in particular in producing replicas of historical doors, windows and walls with fire resistance — and not only for heritage buildings. Our approach to manufacturing combines modern technology and machine processing with the tradition of hand craftsmanship, which makes our products unique and notable for their high quality and precision.
Today we are at the top of the market, and thanks to our history and experience we can meet the most varied customer requirements to the highest standard.

Our goal is to invest in automation and new machines and tools that make manufacture and installation more precise and eliminate human error. These investments will help us keep our products and services at the highest level, and also provide customer support so that our customers feel satisfied and safe.
