Fire resistance EW15 – EI60

We will propose the specific class according to the building fire safety design (PBŘ) of your building — from limiting flame spread to integrity against smoke and heat transmission.

Resistance classes

We supply from EW15 to EI60 — from protection against flame spread (E), through heat radiation (W), to integrity and limiting heat transmission (I).

Structural parts

We supply the doors and frames of the wall in the DP3 design. The windows in the wall we can, as one of the few, also make in the DP1 design, which you can't tell apart from wooden ones.

DP1DP3

We supply fire walls to schools and kindergartens, apartment buildings, office buildings, hospitals and public offices, hotels and retail spaces, and to historical and heritage buildings. We prepare the wall to suit your building, your designer, architect, investor and the fire service — and to make sure you are happy with the whole solution.

Fire wall made from premium materials

From materials that resist burning

We make everything by hand to order, so the wall fits the character of the building by design.

  • Laminated euro-profile timber and solid wood
  • Grenamat and water-resistant marine plywood
  • MDF boards and veneer — for a precise look and finish
  • Intumescent strips and sealants — they expand in a fire and seal the joints

Into the glazed parts of the wall we set, as one of the few, DP1 windowsthat you can't tell apart from wooden ones.

"We assemble the wall from doors and windows in various materials — and it still meets exactly the resistance classyour project requires."

Your most common questions

What is a fire (partition) wall and what is it for?

A fire wall divides a building into separate fire compartments and prevents fire and smoke from spreading between them. This protects property and, above all, gives people time to evacuate safely and gives firefighters room to act.

What fire resistance of walls do you supply?

We supply walls ranging from EW15 to EI60 — from protection against flame spread (E), through heat radiation (W), to integrity and limiting heat transmission (I). We will propose the specific class according to the building fire safety design (PBŘ) of your building.

What is a fire wall made up of?

We freely combine the wall from fire doors and windows in various materials — single-leaf or multi-leaf, with a transom or side panel. We offer glazed partition walls for light-filled interiors as well as solid walls where the space needs to be visually separated.

Do you make wooden and glazed walls too?

Yes — most of our walls are precisely wooden and glazed, to bring light into the interior while blending into the character of the building. Into the glazed sections we can also, as one of the few, set windows in the DP1 design, which you can't tell apart from wooden ones. The doors and frames of the wall we supply in the DP3 design.

What do the designations EW, EI, DP and SC mean?

EW – products that limit fire for a certain time (EW15 = 15 minutes). EI – products that resist fire and are tight against smoke penetration. DP1 – products that do not release heat during a fire and therefore do not increase the intensity of combustion; DP3 – products that do release heat during a fire. SC – smoke-tight products with automatic closing.

Are your walls suitable for historical buildings too?

Absolutely. Thanks to custom manufacturing, we adapt the wall to the character of any building, including historical ones — including exact replicas true to the original appearance and materials used.
