POZUZ, s.r.o., Company ID (IČO) 28134818, with its registered office at Těšínská 403, 373 61 Hrdějovice, represented by its managing director Ondřej Kubart as the controller of personal data, would like to thank its clients for turning to our company and its business partners (both suppliers and customers) for working with us. We equally value our employees.
We undertake to treat the personal data and sensitive information provided to us responsibly and to protect it consistently.
We handle everyone's personal data in full compliance with legal regulations and we also secure all personal data responsibly. We devote maximum care and effort to this area so that we continue to deserve your trust.
We would like to acquaint you with the basic elements of personal data protection in our company, with your rights under the GDPR, and with the option of contacting us if you wish to exercise your GDPR rights towards us or to lodge a complaint.
I. Legal conditions for the collection and processing of personal data
I.1 We process personal data in accordance with the legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union. These are in particular the following legal regulations and their implementing rules:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the “GDPR”),
- Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data, as amended,
- Act No. 253/2008 Coll., on certain measures against the legalisation of proceeds of crime and the financing of terrorism, as amended,
- Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended.
II. What personal data we process
II.1 We process only such data as we need in order to supply and install our products for you and to purchase goods from our suppliers for the purpose of manufacturing and installing our products, and further in order to meet our legal obligations and to protect our legitimate interests.
II.2 We process the following categories of personal data:
- Basic identification data form part of every contract you conclude with us. These include, for example, your first name and surname, date of birth and residential address; for entrepreneurs, the Company ID (IČO) and the address of the registered office.
- Contact data — e-mail, telephone number, contact address. Only with your consent (see below) may we publish your photographs in the company newsletter or on the website of POZUZ, s.r.o.
III. Purpose of processing personal data
III.1 Processing that does not require your consent
(a) Processing based on compliance with a legal obligation. POZUZ, s.r.o. processes personal data in order to fulfil its obligations laid down by legal regulations. These are in particular tax, accounting and labour-law regulations, Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 253/2008 Coll., on certain measures against the legalisation of proceeds of crime and the financing of terrorism, as amended. Processing is also necessary for handling complaints under Act No. 89/2012 Coll. and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on consumer protection, as amended.
(b) Processing necessary for the performance of a contract or in order to take steps prior to concluding a contract:
- For the We'll get back to you form: first name and surname, telephone number.
- For the Online inquiry form: first name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address, contact address, construction-site address, the content of the inquiry, and the text in the note field.
The above data must be processed in order to prepare an offer of services, to negotiate that offer, or to respond to a question you have raised. We also process your data on the basis of the contract we conclude with you; in such a case your direct consent is not required and you cannot refuse to provide this data — otherwise the contract could not be concluded with you.
(c) Processing necessary for the purposes of the controller's legitimate interests. The legitimate interest of POZUZ, s.r.o. is the defence of legal claims and the protection of property against theft (monitoring of the outdoor areas of the production premises at Trägerův Dvůr 117, 370 10 České Budějovice, at the address of the company's registered office and in the outdoor areas of the storage centre in České Budějovice by means of a camera system).
III.2 Processing with your consent
Only with your explicit consent may POZUZ, s.r.o. process your photographs for the purpose of publishing them in the company newsletter or on the company's website. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, for example by sending an e-mail or a letter to the contact details of POZUZ, s.r.o.
IV. The period for which personal data will be stored
- IV.1 We keep your personal data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship. After it ends and all obligations have been settled (e.g. due to the handling of complaints or the conduct of court, administrative or arbitration proceedings), we keep the data for the strictly necessary period, namely for 5 years from the end of the contractual relationship.
- IV.2 If we process personal data for the purpose of preparing an offer, it will be processed for the duration of the negotiations on concluding a contract, but no longer than 1 year from your inquiry.
- IV.3 In the case of publishing your photographs in the company newsletter or on the website, the data is kept for a period of two years from the date the photograph was taken.
- IV.4 Data from camera-system recordings is kept within a time loop for a maximum of two working days and is then deleted.
V. Which entities have access to your data
In order to ensure the quality of our products and services, it is necessary for other third-party entities to also have access to your data. These are law firms or tax offices and other persons with whom, for the purpose of protecting your personal data, we have concluded a personal data processing agreement.
VI. Your rights
VI.1 You have, in particular, the right to be provided — on the basis of a written request — with information about the personal data we collect and process about you, about its purpose and the nature of the processing, and about the recipients of the personal data.
VI.2 You also have the right to request an explanation if you have doubts as to whether personal data is being processed in accordance with legislative requirements and, where justified, also the remedy of the defective state.
VI.3 Your further rights are:
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time (even after consent has been withdrawn, we may process personal data in cases where the law requires it or where it is necessary for the performance of the contract or the protection of our rights and legitimate interests);
- the right to information about the processing of your personal data;
- the right to have personal data rectified or completed;
- the right to request restriction of processing;
- the right to raise an objection or complaint against processing in certain cases;
- the right to request the portability of data;
- the right of access to personal data;
- the right to be informed of a breach of the security of personal data in certain cases;
- the right to erasure of personal data (the right to be “forgotten”) in certain cases;
- the right to file a suggestion or complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, with its registered office at Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.cz;
- other rights laid down in Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the protection of personal data, as amended, and in the GDPR.

VII. What cookies are
Cookies are text files that our website sends to the browser, or rather to the device from which you browse our website (phone, tablet, computer). They allow us to recognise you and adapt the website accordingly, to display certain content, or they help us analyse who has come to the website and whether they return regularly.

- Technical and functional — necessary for the website to be displayed to you properly and securely.
- Analytical — they help us analyse how the website works from the user's point of view so that we can improve it.
On what basis we process cookies
We may work with technical and functional cookies on the basis of legal regulations — without them we would not be able to display the content to you. We process analytical cookies only with your consent, which is entirely up to you and which you can grant or withdraw at any time via the cookie bar.
How to prevent the use of cookies
We keep cookies necessary for functional and secure access to the website only for the period strictly necessary for the transmission and display of the content. We process analytical cookies only with your consent granted via the cookie bar. The processing of analytical cookies can also be prevented in your browser settings, or by browsing the website in incognito mode. The settings must be made separately for each device.
Analytical cookies are processed by the provider of the Google Analytics, Ads and Doubleclick services, Google Ireland Ltd., with its registered office at Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland, in accordance with its terms.
The handling of personal data takes place within the European Union. If processing takes place outside the EU, then it is on the basis of the relevant legal regulations (exceptions approved by the European Union, or after meeting further requirements for the security of data handling).
